Invisalign is a virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth and achieve the smile you’ve always dreamed of. Invisalign uses a 3D computer imaging technology along with our doctors customized treatment plan for you to create your custom series of aligners. The aligners are created to move your teeth little by little with each one. Each aligner is worn for one week and then simply replaced with a new aligner, getting you closer and closer to your desired results. Treatment times vary based on your specific needs.
Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are removable. When you want to eat or drink something, you simply remove the aligners. You do not have to give up hard crunchy or sticky gooey foods as with traditional braces. You remove aligners to brush and floss making home care hygiene a breeze. Invisalign does not use metal brackets or wires that typically cause irritation to your mouth, making your treatment much more comfortable. Invisalign aligners allow for some protection when playing sports or instruments and allow a high functioning mouth guard to be worn over them easily. Invisalign treatments also allow for less appointments making your time spent in the doctor’s office shorter and less often that with traditional braces
Whether it be eating, drinking, flossing, or brushing, Invisalign aligners can be taken out at any time. Have a big day coming up or a special night out? Simply, remove the aligners. Unlike traditional braces appointments, Invisalign appointments are a lot easier, with a quick progress check every 10-16 weeks.
Over 5,000,000 patients worldwide have been treated with Invisalign. Holt Orthodontics has successfully treated more than 5,0000 Invisalign cases! That is more than any other provider in Northern California. The number of Invisalign smiles is growing daily.
